Hello everyone! So, I'm sure you all must be going crazy wondering how the operation went today so I just wanted to write a quick message and let everyone know that the operation went really well, no problems. It got off to a late start, about an hour later than expected because the prep time took a bit long, but the total operation didn't seem longer than 15 to 20 minutes. Vi was in recovery for a few hours as they searched for a hospital room for her to stay the night. Jan is there now with her for the night and she will be checking out and back home at 11:00am tomorrow. She was in a bit of pain after but overall was just really sleepy. Thank you all for your blessings and positive thoughts. I know Vi will want to write another blog and tell you all about the experience when she is back home. But, for now, you can all rest easy knowing it went well.
